The twenty four stackable buckets are resealable to keep your supply fresh. This Emergency Food Supply has durable packaging and is so compact that it uses only a fraction of the space used by other prepackaged food companies. The food supply has a 25 year shelf life with proper storage. Proper storage would be a place that is not exposed to a freeze/thaw cycle or extreme heat. A storage cellar or a basement that is cooler and dry would be considered proper storage.
